25 Things About Me

Rules: Once you've been tagged, you are supposed to write a note with 25 random things, facts, habits, or goals about you. At the end, choose 25 people to be tagged. You have to tag the person who tagged you. If I tagged you, it's because I want to know more about you.

1. I love athletic guys. It is the #1 most attractive thing about a guy. I won't date anyone who is not athletic
2. I'm a TV junkie. I have to keep up on all my favorite shows.
3. I own over 100 DVD's. I'm a huge movie fan
4. I hate when people are late! This "Mormon standard time" drives me NUTS. Be on time!
5. My ultimate goal in life is to find the man of my dreams, live in the house next door to my parents, have my own cute family and live happily ever after
6. I love grocery shopping! I love running errands, picking up kids from school, taking them to practice, cleaning the house, cooking dinner - I was born a housewife!
7.I get really annoyed with people who are irresponsible. It's a sign of immaturity
8. I can't stand loud months. I hate when people say what ever they want. They need to filter what they say before they say it. Just because its the truth doesn't mean it isn't rude!
9. I'm a sports fanatic. I love watching sports, I love playing sports, I love going to sporting events! Athletes are the coolest people.
10. I'm obessed with my weight. I have been dieting and exercising since I was 13. I can never keep my weight under control and it is the most stressful, overwhelming thing in my life.
11. I love to vacation! Any kind of vacation but especially tropical vacations. I love the sun, tanning, laying by the pool, lake or beach. I could lay on the beach all day everyday.
12. I'm addicted to gum. I always have to keep my breath fresh.
13. I want to marry a wealthy man so I can use my money to help others. I want to help stop poverty in third world countries. I want to have enough money to spend my life donating to others; especially my immediate and extended family.
14. I love my name - Karli Dee. Dee is after my grandpa.
15. I'm so unbelievably proud of my brothers! I love all three of them and think they are the most fantastic boys alive!
16. I get cravings for pretzels. I love the simplest foods: pretzels, marshmellows, cereal, bread, pop tarts, granola, frosting, saltines etc.
17. I'm so proud of my parents! They are the coolest, best parents ever! My parents have always been concerned with the kids first and get their greatest joy in seeing us succeed and be happy. Example: I've played three sports all year round since I was 8 years old - my parents have been at every single game! I can not remember a single game they were not at. They live for us and I'm so grateful for them. They are truly amazing parents!
18. I hate dressing up! Hate it! I'm so much happier in sweats or jeans and a t-shirt
19. I love my hair. It makes me so happy.
20. I love my legs, they are my favorite body feature. I get a lot of comments on how great my legs are. If I could wear short shorts everyday I would.
21. I want to be a sports photographer. I love taking pictures and would love for one of my pictures to be in Sports Illustrated one day.
22. I'm a clean freak. I have to have the house and my room clean before I can do anything. I'm super organized.
23. The only think I drink is water. I don't drink pop, juice, sports drinks etc. Only water.
24. I'm addicted to running. I actually have to tell myself not to go running. I love to run!
25. I love teaching! There is nothing like helping a child with a difficult concept that they finally understand and say, "Oh, I get it."! It is the greatest reward of being an elementary school teacher.

ChRiStMaS TiMe

I love Christmas! I love being home and spending time with my family! This year we had a huge Arctic Blast hit the Northwest and we saw the most snow in Oregon since 1968! Jared and Kasia came from Chicago and almost didn't get in. Luckily my parents are amazing and drove up to Seattle to pick them up. Since the roads and weather were so bad it took them all day Saturday. Once everyone was home we had THE BEST TIME! My family is pretty much amazing. We got snowed in for a few days and it just made things that much more fun! We played games, watched movies and most importantly played with Wrigley!! I'm so grateful for my family and the fun we have together! Thank you Jared and Kasia for making the trip!!! We love you guys SO much and love having you here in Oregon!!

It's been a long time...

I haven't written on my blog in a long time. I like updating with pictures so I use my facebook and myspace all the time but forget to post any blogs. There is nothing new in my life besides the fact that I'm in my last semester and I'm student teaching now! I graduate in April from BYU and will move back to Oregon to teach. I can't wait!!
The best news I have to update is my niece Wrigley! She is so adorable! She is so fun, interactive and smart! It makes me SO SAD that she is in Chicago but I love everytime I get to see her!! My sister-in-law Kasia wrote in her blog that I have become Wrigley's personal photographer, which I am realizing is true. I love pictures; I take A TON of pictures. Wrigley is SO CUTE I can't help but take pictures of her. I love being an aunt and am so grateful to have a beautiful niece! I've added some of my favorite pictures from the past few months.
