What would you do without friends...

Our first annual beach trip, we look so young.

Seattle with Sami and Jill
Me, Jill and Sami have been best friends since we were 16 years old. My senior year of high school, the three of us decided to go to the beach for spring break. Since then we have made it an annual trip. Either during spring break or during the summer the three of us get together for a fun trip. This year we went to Seattle for the weekend and had a blast! I love these girls. I don't know what I would do without them. The funny thing is we are all different but are still the best of friends. We've had the best times together and have always been there for one another. They've both been great friends and great examples to me. I'm so grateful for them.

Regarding the post below...

I was just informed by my little brother that he thinks it is creepy. I have to disagree for a few reasons: 1. I don't really love him. I just have a huge, huge crush on him. 2. Seriously if you see him you would know exactly what I mean. 3. I just don't care...

"I'm in love, I'm in love and I don't care who knows it..."

I love my little brothers best friend!! I kept it a secret for awhile but I don't care anymore. He is so hot! They've been best friends for over four years. He's like part of the family and even goes on vacations with us. I love him. He might only be 18 but he definitely does not look like it! He's 6'4", dark hair, broad shoulders and ripped body. He has a gorgeous smile. He's so so funny. He's also really good at basketball and I'm a sucker for the athletic guy. Everyone in my family knows it, I'm sure he does to with the shameless way I am around him lol. I just can't help it. I love him!

I love Hawaii

Hawaii was amazing! I spent the week laying on the beach, watching super cute guys play soccer and shopping! I got a great tan too! It was the life. I didn't get together with the soccer coach but maybe next time ; ) I want to make Waikiki an annual summer vacation - it was awesome!

Hawaii!

I'm going to Hawaii on Sunday and I can't wait!!
My brother's U-19 club soccer team won the state championship and Regionals are in Hawaii this year. I'm so excited to spend the whole week watching soccer, laying on the beach, and sitting by the pool!! (I also have a secret crush on his soccer coach so it's going to be so fun : )

Sports are life

So last night I hung out with this guy. I met him through my aunt and uncles and right away I knew he wasn’t my type, but I still gave him a try. He drove down from Layton, we went to dinner, to a birthday party, and then watched a movie. After my roommate came home, we all sat around talking. Now throughout the “date” I totally wasn’t into him. He is too feminine, likes to talk about himself, weird sense of humor, is not an athlete and doesn’t even watch sports! For me, there are two things I look for right away in a guy, first he has to be LDS, and second he has to be an athlete! He is striking out on number two. So we’re talking with my roommate and for some reason he goes off about how sports are pointless. He thinks the NBA players get paid way too much and our schools are suffering because the money should go there. He’s bashing that the same thing is played on Sports Center multiple times a day and he thinks professional sports are just a money hungry business. I’m just looking at him thinking, “What is the matter with you?” He’s sitting here trashing on something I happen to love; sports are my life! That is so rude and annoying to be saying those things to me. I understand he has his opinion and that is totally fine. But don’t bash on something someone else loves! Are you an idiot? Needless to say we’re not hanging out anymore.
If you’re not an athlete, you just don’t understand. Athletes, true athletes, are a different breed of people. They tend to be more laid back, cooler, better social skills, more aware in social situations, more normal sense of humor. I can’t stand when someone says they “play sports” because they played basketball once in your driveway. You have to be on an organized team and be good to be a true athlete!! Otherwise, you just don’t understand

Oh life!

Life is so funny. Somedays I feel like I'm so lucky and I'm ok being single then other days I don't know why I can't meet anyone. I just want someone who is laid back, nice, athletic, funny, cute, ambitious and unselfish. I keep thinking one of these times I go out, there will be someone I actually like who likes me back. But there's always no one. I have fun and make a good time of it but I just want to meet someone.
